Pendo Earth’s ambition is to become one of the world’s leading food systems organisations, recognised for generating evidence, demonstrating practical solutions, and enabling their adoption across communities, institutions, and policy. Our success will not be measured primarily by the number of programmes we operate, but by the extent to which the ideas, evidence, and models we develop are adopted and sustained by others.
What funders receive
Every grant is an act of trust, and the Foundation repays that trust with rigour, transparency, and honest reporting, including when findings are inconvenient. Honesty of that kind is only possible where research is independent, so the Foundation accepts funding on terms that preserve the independence of its work and its voice.

Support the Lake Victoria Aquatic Welfare Initiative, from improving the welfare of farmed aquatic animals to building the foundations for a community-led transition toward plant-forward food systems around the lake.
Collaborate
Researchers, institutions, and organisations working on aquatic welfare, plant-forward food systems, or community-centred innovation.
Adopt what works
The Foundation’s methods and evidence are developed to be taken up by others.
